Deforming holonomy representations of projective surface

The holonomy representation of a projective surface is a representation of its fundamental group in PGL(3,R), the group of linear transformations of the projective plane. It lifts to SL(3,R) and the aim of the talk is to describe its deformation space in SL(4,R), after composing with the standard embedding of SL(3,R) in SL(4,R). If time allows, I’ll discuss an application to deformations of projective structures on 3-manifolds.
