In the study of random groups, as pioneered by Gromov en 1996, one considers the properties of randomly chosen finitely presented groups <S|R>, generated by generators and cancelling relations. Several models are possible, according to the type of relations or the asymptotic parameters that are chosen.
In our work, we focus on fixed-length relations in particular of triangular ones.
In this talk, we will give an overview of classical tools (Van Kampen Diagram, Cayley Graph…), problems (Word problem) and properties (Hyperbolicity, Freeness…) of random groups. We will also present our published and current results about Serre Properties FA and Hyperbolicity.
