Managers: Sandrine ANTHOINE, François HAMEL
Role
The committee’s role is to make proposals to the laboratory’s management and board for all matters concerning rankings and opinions relating to scientific calls for tender, for example:
- FIR rankings for visiting research professors,
- FIR symposium rankings,
- calls for tender from local authorities,
- choice of experts for scientific advice,
- ranking of post-doctoral fellowship applications.
The role of the committee is dynamic and can evolve according to the needs of the laboratory, at the request of management and on the advice of the Laboratory Council (see minutes).
How it works
The members of the commission designate one of their number to be in charge. The commission meets whenever necessary. For each ranking, it appoints two rapporteurs for each application, and meets to draw up a ranking proposal based on these reports. Rapporteurs can be either members of the committee or colleagues from outside the committee.
Duration
The commission is appointed for the duration of the four-year contract, i.e. from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021.
Composition and election of the commission
The commission is made up of 8 elected and 6 appointed members (see list of commission members). Election: single-member constituency, first-past-the-post system. Individual applications. Voters: permanent laboratory researchers and teacher-researchers.
Number of proxies limited to 3 per voter.
