UpPMaBoSS is a new framework for dynamical modeling of circulating cell populations, based on qualitative models of the intra-cellular mecanisms. It relies on the pre-existing tool MaBoSS, which estimates a distribution of probabilities of individual cellular states. Here, we propose to interpret this distribution of probabilities as a mirror of the composition of an heterogeneous cell population.
UpPMaBoSS enables this interpretation by accounting for inter-cellular communication, cell division and cell death.
