Higher Hida theory for Hilbert modular varieties

In recent years Pilloni and his collaborators studied p-adic properties of the higher degree coherent cohomology of automorphic sheaves on certain (toroidal compactifications of) Shimura varieties. I will talk about how to develop higher Hida theory à la Pilloni for Hilbert modular varieties. More precisely, I will explain how to construct some modules interpolating p-adically higher coherent cohomology groups of the Hilbert modular varieties associated to a totally real field F in the case where the prime p splits completely in F. If time permits, I will discuss about further applications to the construction of p-adic L-functions.
