In this talk, we consider the diffusion equation with time-fractional derivatives of Caputo type. Fractional diffusion equations (FDEs) are proposed as new governing equations for the diffusion of contaminants underground.
We first establish a mathematical model and derive FDEs from it. Next we introduce some obtained results for forward, inverse and control problems. Finally we will introduce some topics which are now in progress.
