Abstract : Over the last 40 years, topological concepts gradually entered the field of theoretical physics, especially condensed matter physics. These tools provided both theoretical breakthroughs and new interpretations of known results. This talk will provide an intuitive foreword to this wide field and a study of the Aharonov-Bohm effect. It will open onto several current research and applications, some of whom will be developed in a next talk.
Le séminaire des doctorant⋅es de l’I2M et du CPT à Luminy regroupe chaque semaine les doctorant⋅es du site autour d’un exposé plus ou moins (in)formel, dans un cadre convivial. Il est évidemment ouvert aux étudiant⋅es de master et aux doctorant⋅es d’autres laboratoires.
